Work: Finalize the different neckles and braceletsDuring the workshop one of our Icelandic volunteers Kjartan will show us how to use the runes and explain us about the myths and legends around the Runes and the old Viking religion. During the camp we will also visit and get guidance from one of the best artists in this field here in Iceland.Leisure time: We will have free access to all the geothermal swimming pools in Reykjavik Study theme: The power of the Runes and the old Viking religion Location: We will have free access to all the geothermal swimming pools in Reykjavik Partner: The peninsula of Reykjanes which has a lot of hot springs and new volcanic lava. By visiting those places we will give the opportunity to the participants to travel in Iceland and to discover and learn a lot about the magic of different parts of the island. Requirements: There is an extra participation fee of 150 Euros for this work camp. This camp is a great way to learn about the energy of Iceland and the legend of the Vikings. Please notice that all the tools, equipments and materials is provided by WF Iceland. Accomodation and food: We will stay in a nice fully equipped house in the centre of Reykjavik. Beds will be provided but volunteers should bring their sleeping bags. The food will be supplied for the duration of the work camp and everyone is expected to do his/her fair part of the cooking/cleaning. It would be nice to share new and different dishes, so please remember to bring along recipes from your own countries.
