PROJECT: Being aware of the roll of the education in the development of the scientific and technological knowledge and its major importance to achieve a sustainable development, we decided to invite an international group of volunteers to work to increase the conscience about environmental matters that represent a challenge for the society like the treatment of waste and the use of the knowledge generated within educational institutions to carry out efficient recycling programs and to promote within the population an environmental education. WORK: Volunteers will carry out several activities orientated to achieve a better education and awareness within the population about recycling and waste treatment. They will be participating in sensitization campaigns within local population to give them options about reducing and recycling waste through compost and other recycling activities. They could organize also workshops about how to make a compost deposit as well as sensitization workshops and theater scenes as an instrument to increase the awareness of these matters. Volunteers could share knowledge and the previous experience in these activities will be appreciated. ACCOMODATION: Volunteers will be hosted in a private house with all facilities at disposal: beds, kitchen, hot water, etc.

REMARKS: All the volunteers placed in this camp will receive personalized online advice and online support to organize their trip to Mexico, and also all volunteers will be given on their arrival to the camp a discount card to save money in the activities they realize in Mexico. All volunteers who participate in 2 camps or more will receive a free Spanish course during 1 week (including hosting, professional teacher, conversation practice, cultural training, materials and 3 hours of classes daily)
