Work: The Japanese volunteers will be working alongside Welsh volunteers and the staff from the Afan Forest Park. The local volunteers will not necessarily stay with the group for the whole two weeks, but will nonetheless be an important part of this project. Location: It is known as one of the best places in the UK for mountain biking and has one of the country's largest mountain biking trails. Partner: The idea of the project is to encourage an exchange of cultures between Japan and Wales and to carry on building links between Afan Forest park and similar forest projects in Japan. Requirements: Are enthusiastic and prepared to work hard!Please note: This project is open to Japanese volunteers applying through our partner NICE and British volunteers only. Accomodation and food: Volunteers will sleep on mats on the floor and should bring their own sleeping bag.
