Work: WORK: Helping residents of the "TEMI" community in constructing works, working in the garden, cleaning, teaching and entertaining kids, caring for fosterlings and helping them with their daily activities. Location: LOCATION: "TEMI CHARITABLE UNION" is situated in Gremi -170 km from the capital of Georgia Tbilisi. This is one of the most beautiful parts of Georgia mostly popular with its history, amazing architectural monuments (about 5 000) and vine. Thirty percent of this region is covered with forest among which is the Lagodekhi National Park, the natural reserve which is listed among the worldwide importance monuments of UNESCO. www.birding-georgia.com/lagodekhi; www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki (Monasteries in Georgia) LEISURE TIME: Volunteers will participate in meetings and excursions and will have opportunity to visit historical monuments and sightseeing. They will also have chance to participate in some sport trainings. Partner: "TEMI" welcomes residents of all ages, capacities and nationalities and seeks to provide a warm and supportive environment to physically and mentally handicapped children and adults as well as orphan minors. It is necessary to build more living space for residents. www.temi-community.org; www.temi-deutschland.de; www.nothelfergemeinschaft.de Requirements: AGE: Limited from 20.LANGUAGE: English, German, Russian, Georgian.WHAT TO BRING: Not necessary but recommended some kind of working clothes and sleeping bags with you. You can also bring your music instruments, toys, songs and music and of course your good mood and your creativity. SPECIALS: No drugs, sex, alcohol or cigarettes allowed during the working time. Accomodation and food: ACCOMODATION: Volunteers will have to stay in a tent or a two-floored house that is well equipped for a comfortable stay. FOOD: Will be provided three times a day (vegetables, fruits, meet, fish - few days a week).
