The project: The sawmill of Machet, situated in the heart of the forest, is the source of numerous activities and reflections. Combining the economy social and solidarity, it works at the promotion of the alternative energies, the water and the wood. This hydraulic sawmill fed by a canal will be the object of works of restoration and of re arrangement. The Machet Energie Renouvelable association will be please to welcome you on its site. This project joins an initiative of protection of the nature, local heritage and the development of rural areas. You will also participate in the organization of the festival of Machet. Works : Arrangement of gates to facilitate the maintenance of the canal of supply for the hydraulic sawmill of Machet: Restoration of an existing gate and creation of a dredging gate, creation and installation of elements of wooden restraints of profiled oak,restoration and remplacement of a threshold floating sill, cleaning of the canal, helping to prepare for the Festival of Machet.
